Over the five days, supportive and encouraging faculty will guide you through a series of structured interactive workshops that will cover the type and style of questions that you are likely to encounter in the Basic Science Component of the OSCE.
On completion of this course, you will be in a position to approach the OSCE examination with increased confidence and renewed knowledge. Throughout the week, you will take part in a range of small group tutorials in topographical and surgical anatomy, involving the use of anatomical specimens, radiographs and bones.
There will also be several interactive lectures.
Applied Basic Surgical Sciences for the Intercollegiate MRCS OSCE
As part of the course, you will receive a copy of these textbooks: Reflecting the ethos and format of the MRCS Part B exam, this course focuses on the applied surgical aspects of anatomy, patho-physiological basis of disease and critical care physiology. This ,rcs an interactive one-day course gives you the chance to practice mcqz communication skills in a range of scenarios with professional actors.
You will be awarded 5 credits applued the Postgraduate Certificate in Surgery upon booking this course. The inclusion of courses in the PGCert in Surgery is subject to availability. Please note, for courses held at the College, we require full payment upon booking.
