It is our responsibility before God to put into effect common criteria for distinguishing between what human beings are scientifically and technologically capable of doing and what, ethically speaking, they should not do. Unity is the prerequisite for peace The Charta states that the unity of the Churches is a prerequisite for peace among oecumnica nations.
